Post Your Suggestions for Special Travelers

Sunday December 5, 2004
I received an email recently from two travelers who describe themselves as "severely disabled." Both are confined to wheelchairs and need a third attendant to travel with them. This poses needs that run counter to a budget travel strategy: They need an extra person, and a spacious room (usually a suite) that will accommodate their wheelchairs. These folks would like to know if anyone else has encountered a resort or hotel that discounts or waives costs for such travelers. Their top wish is to go to Las Vegas for New Year's Eve. If you can help with advice, click the link above and post your response. If you're not registered for our forum, it only takes a moment and it is free. These travelers, and perhaps other readers, will be very grateful for any help they receive.
