Not that long ago, only a very naive novice traveler (or a very wealthy one) would ask about travel between European cities by air. Now, Europe has become one of the most competitive budget airfare markets on earth. A few years ago, many fares were 90% taxes and a small fee. Most prices have risen since then, but great fares on many routes are still there for the booking. Rethink what once was conventional wisdom, and look at examples of cheap airfares within Europe.
