Shopping for Airports
Sunday November 9, 2008
Most people are bewildered by airfares, and with good reason! Airfares make very little logical sense. Sometimes the best way to snag a low fare is to find an alternative airport. Find out how shopping for airports in certain situations can be a big money-saver.

When looking to fly to between major European cities, always look for an airport that is close, e.g. Beauvais instead of Charles de Gaulle, Pisa instead of Florence. Budget airlines use these and the savings are considerable. By watching online, I was able just a couple of weeks ago, to get a flight from Edinburgh - Pisa return for only $28 CAD.
