Airport Discounts

When you need to shop for an airfare, do you look only at the airports closest to your home or destination? If so, you could be spending a lot of money for just a little added convenience. Cincinnati (a Delta hub) is a prime example of a major airport that frequently has much higher prices for air travel than its neighbors. People in that area have complained about this for years. Earlier this month, Delta responded with fare cuts for all destinations it serves from Cincinnati. Let's hope the trend continues, but don't underestimate the value of checking fares for all nearby airports. You don't want to drive hundreds of miles for a small discount, but a short drive that could save big money is well worth considering. Find out how shopping for airports in certain situations can be an effective strategy for budget travel.

Great idea!! I’d also like to know who to contact at Delta to make flights from Atlanta, (also a hub), cheaper!!!
