European Vacations

Monday July 6, 2009
You might have noticed a lot of great European vacation deals recently. Everything from airfares to package deals and hotel stays have been marked downward. Summer is the prime season for North Americans to visit Europe, but challenging economic times have many across the Atlantic worried that it will be a down year for tourism. With more favorable exchange rates and potentially smaller crowds, it might be time to consider a late Summer European Vacation.

I had several problems (I travel frequently to Europe) with the people who handle the loggage and bags. several things and clothing had desapear from my bags, always in the USA, In Europe I always wrap my bags in plastic, so they can’t open them. In the US, we have many rules for the travelers but none for the type of people who work in the airport, THEY ARE NOT TR!!!!

THE GOVERMENT o …. is in charge, should train people who work in airports. In march, I went to Europe. I took my CPAC with me. I had horrendous time with the people -security- They did not allow me to enter the plane (20min. holding the plane) until they finally allowed me to enter. They refused to check the website with the government rules and regulations about taking a CPAC with me… not only that but the agent from the airline told me the day before it was ok to take it.

(4) Fresh Airfare says:

In June I saw LAX to Barcelona tickets for $299 on Delta.com. I knew this fare wouldn’t last too long, so I purchased them right away. By the next morning, they were back up to $550…which still low!

I also recently paid $600 for LAX to Tokyo.

We will probably never see the international skies this low again. 2009 will be remembered as the cheapest time to fly overseas in our generation. The deals I’m seeing are blowing my mind.

Maybe bad economies aren’t so bad afterall?
