It could be days before train and plane schedules are back to normal along the U.S. eastern seaboard.

Hurricane Sandy resulted in about 18,000 canceled flights worldwide, according to Associated Press. Train routes remain closed. Flooding has caused serious problems throughout the region that could affect travel for days or weeks.
