US Airways offers "Everyday Low Florida Fares" starting at $128 USD roundtrip. Buffalo-West Palm Beach is $154. Boston-Orlando is $198. A fourteen-day advance purchase is required, and there are other restrictions.
Jetblue recently offered a variety of $69 and $79 one-way fares from cities like New York and Boston to Florida. The deals and cities change frequently, but they bear watching as the thermometer drops.

Germany's budget LTU offers winter fares between Dusseldorf and Miami starting at $398 USD. The point is most major airlines will offer some sort of Florida sale at some point during the winter.
In winter, airlines often extend the dates or offer new sales. Travelocity offers a "fare watcher" service where you can target your favorite route. The day I wrote this article, they displayed a $137 USD roundtrip fare between New York and Orlando.
