F.A.Q.

  1. Q. Are You a Travel Agent? Book me a flight for next month to...
    A. Sorry, but I have no ability to do that. I am not a travel agent. This site does not attempt to take the place of travel professionals, who provide a valuable, unique service to their clients.
  2. Q. Can you at least find me some good prices?
    A. The purpose of this site is to arm travelers with a quick, efficient and effective planning tool. You do the work, but we make it much easier for you. After all, you know better than I what is best for your travel party. But I do want to hear about your successes and failures, because we can learn from them.
  3. Q. Where can I find the best airfares?
    A. There's no one answer to this question that will apply to every situation. It's always a good idea to check several sources. I like to start with the airline's promotional pages. You can find links to many of them by clicking Airline Web sites with last-minute deals.
  4. Q. Would you consider providing a link to my site?
    A. Send me the URL and a brief description of the site's major features. Remember: sites that fit into one of our existing netlink categories and provide money-saving information have the best chance of acceptance.
  5. Q. I found a dead link. Is it going to be deleted?
    A. Not necessarily. Sometimes Webmasters will make slight changes in directories that render our links dead. Often it's a matter of simply making a minor adjustment to get the link working again. If you find a dead link, please let me know.
  6. Q. I came across an advertisement that says you are looking for freelance writers. Where do I sign up?
    A. Sorry, but that ad is out-of-date. I am not looking for any freelancers at this time.
  7. Q. I like your site and I want to link to it. What's the best way to do it?
    A. Please link to the main page, http://budgettravel.about.com. Let me know where you have the page linked and perhaps I can post a reciprocal link to your site if it provides a service to budget travelers.
