Mercedes-Benz European Delivery

Mercedes-Benz offers a 7 percent discount on C, E, S, CLK, GLK, SLK, CLS, and SL classes. Remember that the discount applies only to the MSRP and does not apply to items such as taxes, title/documentary fees, registration, dealer prep, equipment and accessories, and finance charges.

Mercedes offers two packages: the Standard Package, and the Black Forest-Alps Rally. Both include 15 days of zero-deductible comprehensive insurance and ocean shipping. Travel arrangements give you 2-for-1 airfare on Lufthansa, lodging at selected hotels, ground transportation to/from drop-off points, meals and tours in Sindelfingen (Stuttgart) and a full tank of fuel. Although taxes are not included, there is one notable exception: U.S. Customs Duty and destination charges are paid for the buyer.

The standard deal comes at no additional cost and is not guided. You get a free night's stay in your choice of 14 "luxurious hotels." With the Black Forest-Alps promotion, a four-day, "rally" tour takes you from the factory near Stuttgart into the Black Forest, through the Austrian Alps and then to Munich. It costs an extra $1300 USD for one or two people. Many budget travelers will probably pass on this option.

As with many of these companies, Daimler has an excellent display center adjacent to their factory near Stuttgart. A tour of the production lines is well worth your time, too.

Drop-off locations include the factory and 12 other cities in France, Germany, Holland, Spain, Switzerland and the United Kingdom at no additional charge. Special arrangements can be made for drop-off in Italy, but a fee is required.

The cheapest eligible model for European Delivery is the C300 Luxury Sedan, starting at the discounted price of $31,611 USD.
