Bavarian Motor Works (BMW) European Delivery

This always starts in Munich, but drop-off and shipment can occur from 21 locations in eight European nations, and only the Italian locations each require a fee. Pick-ups and drop-offs are not done on weekends or a long list of local holidays. Avoid the day after these off-days, when the lines get longer.

The entire process takes about six to eight weeks. Included in that time is about 20 business days for vehicle preparation at the U.S. port of entry.

BMW will not allow you to take European Delivery of Z4 and X5 models, since they are also manufactured in the U.S.

As with the others, BMW will insure you and guarantees any damage in transit will be fixed prior to final delivery.

At $27,155 USD, the 128i Coupé is the least expensive model available for European delivery. That's $2045 less than the U.S. MSRP. All the models are discounted up to 7 percent, which on some more expensive models can save more than $8500.
