How to Order a Rail Pass

Is a city you'll visit in another country located near a border? If so, it might be cheaper to buy a point-to-point ticket for that short distance than to add the nearby country to your pass. For example, Munich is not far from the Austrian border, but a day trip to Salzburg might not justify the expense of adding Austria to your pass.
