Washington's two airports both offer train service from terminal to the center of the city.
Washington Reagan National is so close to the city center that the trip can be completed in as little as 10 minutes, and for the very pleasant price of $1.60. The fare is $1.10 for seniors, those with disabilities or travelers with a medicare card. The cab fare from Reagan averages $16.
Washington Dulles is a greater distance, and the cost for a ride is $6. That's quite a bargain when you look at the average cab fare from Dulles, which is about $55.
