Bay Area Rapid Transit offers a 30-minute ride from the center of the city to San Francisco International Airport. The BART station at the airport is located in Garage "G" in the International Terminal.
The cost to the city center is $8.10 on a BART train. Cab fares between SFO and downtown average about $40. BART also takes you from SFO to other points of interest, including Berkeley, Palo Alto and Oakland.
