With airfares constantly on the move, it's nice to know the range for the past 48 hours before you start shopping. Buzz allows you to survey these prices.
You enter an origination airport and destination continent.
You'll then receive a list of available airfares sorted from lowest to highest. This makes it possible to pick out the lowest-priced destinations at a glance.
One example: I entered Memphis and Europe and then asked Buzz to search "all dates."
This very open search turned up a round trip fare from Memphis to Duesseldorf for $456 USD, including taxes. The departure date was more than a month in the future, and the fare involved a two-week stay in Europe.
That is a great price, but the odds of that itinerary fitting into anyone's travel plans aren't good, right? The key is to use this information to your advantage.
Maybe Duesseldorf is the cheapest airport for entering Europe right now from the southeastern U.S. Next week, it could be Amsterdam, Frankfurt or any number of other places.
If I'm somewhat flexible on where I arrive, I then can go to work on the arrival and departure dates. But knowing when and where the cheapest fare is available gives me an excellent starting point for a productive search.
