This room is in a three-star property in the San Francisco Union Square bidding zone. The room cost at the time of my bid was $145.67; The winning bid was $80, to which another $14.72 in taxes and fees were added. The savings for this stay was $50.95, multiplied by three nights for a total of $152.85. The hotel charges a whopping $43/day for parking, but there is a city lot less than two blocks away for $26/day. Walking those two blocks resulted in additional savings of $51. This hotel is beautifully located just north of Union Square, and just a short walk from Chinatown and two rapid transit (BART) stations. Rooms are well appointed and the hotel offers upscale services in its restaurants and meeting rooms. In pricey San Francisco, this proved to be an excellent Priceline bargain.
